Deindexing
De-indexing is an SEO practice that consists of indicating to search engines the content that should not be considered. This can be low-quality content or content that you want to keep private so it doesn’t show up in search engine results. We distinguish for example:
- Pages with duplicate content;
- The pages resulting from the import of a demo theme;
- Pages offering spinned content;
- Internal engine results pages;

De-indexing, therefore, makes it possible to sort and offer Internet users the most qualitative content. To perform de-indexing, you have several options including:
The use of the “noindex” meta robots tag;
The robots.txt file;
The URL removal form in Search Console;
